Nevada City Breastfeeding Reduces Diabetes

Infants who are breastfed have a 39% less chance of developing type 2 diabetes than formula fed babies, researchers say. The host of benefits for breastfed babies in undeniable--and continually growing. If at all possible, breast feed your baby. If this is impossible I recommend using the recipe in the book Nourishing Traditions, by Sally Fallon and Mary Enig, and avoiding soy-based formulas. The recipe includes raw goat milk--the closest thing to human milk!
