Over the years there has been a great deal of research on the role of chiropractic in sports performance. These studies demonstrate the power of chiropractic in improving speed, strength, and coordination. The most recent of these studies was published in this month's edition of the Journal of Manipulative and Physiologic Therapeutics. The study analyzed "movment time" in participants before and after a chiropractic adjustment. "Movement time" is an analysis of coordination and speed tested by moving a cursor onto a target appearing on a computer screen. It was found that the people who got adjusted improved there scores 5 times more than the people who did not get adjusted. This study shows that a single adjusment has the power to improve speed and coordination throughout the entire body. Check out the study here.
